Peak Efficiency: An internet database for motor performance

I just found this site for RC brushless motor performance numbers, it has a database with a large number of RC brushless motors and a calculator for determining motor constants from measured data as well as a graphing function to show you the efficiency, power and rpms over a range of currents and voltages.

Interesting.

If I'm reading the graphs correctly, it seems the efficiency peaks in the bottom half of the motor's RPM range which would seem to contrast against hub motor's efficiency peaking in the top half(usually in the top 20%). I wonder why the noticeably different efficiency characteristics.

You're right! The RPM axis I'm used to is no longer the horizontal. Now the data more readily fits in with my preconceptions.
