So I have a problem with my ping 2.5 amp charger pretty much as outlined above with the uncooked spagetti inner insulation cracking and I guess shorting. I'm sure Ping would send me a replacement but I want it up and running ASAP.
I want to replace the lead but is there any need to use coaxial lead? I thought coaxial is only necessary as shielding for audio applications. Can I just use any decent power lead?
Also is the short likely to has killed anything either BMS or charger?
