if you are lucky 120MM with spacers may work. Spacers are available from most bike parts supplier. Try googling "BBSHD AND THE BIKE BRAND AND MODEL." There may be build threads out there.Hello.
I am building a new fat bike for my dad. I got the 100 mm BBSHD and when I tried to install it I got this:
Do I need the 120 mm version, right? Where can I get spacers for the left side?
Thanks.G
I don't think you're gonna be able to move the gear case far enough to the left to accommodate even the 120mm version. You'll need a shorter stack of bad ideas in one place.

bottom bracket spacers
Look at ElectricBike.com. The individual has reported on several conversions with a BBSHD (mostly using bikes direct bikes, but probably you can procure just a frame there or at their subsidiary, bike island).
I think you're going to need a frame that starts the widening of the chainstays farther back than the one you have, to be able to do this type of build.
Brand and model name?
Thank you!
Simplicity is the way to go!With a rear wheel motor
I almost have finished this project.
The 120 mm version and spacers did the trick. I will post some pics.
Hi!Please post pictures of the chainline too, if you can. It's one thing to install a part, another thing for it to fit the system you install it on.
I and many others have rearranged cassettes before to help alleviate this, worth a shot if you haven't thought about it already.Hi!
I bought a Gustavo 42T plate with offset from Aliexpress and it is alignment to the third gear of ten, no perfect but not so bad (this bike is for my dad and now he only has one gear. I hope we will use them). I bought a 40T Precialps with more offset. I will pics with I have it
Best regards.
True. I was only ever able to use 6 out of 8 or 7 out of 9 sprockets with my BBS02. So I moved the gears I wanted into those positions, and stuck the extras behind them and locked them out with the rear derailleur limit screws.I and many others have rearranged cassettes before to help alleviate this, worth a shot if you haven't thought about it already.
Thank you. I will check it too. Im out of home for a couple of weeks. First install the new plate (I hope don't have problems with the size) and then check the cassette.I and many others have rearranged cassettes before to help alleviate this, worth a shot if you haven't thought about it already.
