Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone knew much about these fat tire mid drives. It's got a bafang motor 1000w and it's throwing an error code 8 Hall sensor circuit. Guy uses it for hunting and claims he can pull an entire deer on it. Since having this problem the customer has replaced the battery and the controller and the throttle
So far I've:

Triple checked the wiring, nothing is rubbed through

Checked the hall sensors

Inspected the board and magnets and windings

The only problem I see is that the adhesive holding on one of the hall sensors seems to have failed and it is allowing the whole sensor to move a slight amount maybe a millimeter or two. I have a feeling that's probably the issue because I don't see any burns on the board or anything that would lead me to think that there's any actually damaged components. The controller board has thermal putty on it and before I go trying to remove it I would just like another opinion. Thank y'all for any help y'all have been great

Mostly visual. If I turn it on and hit the throttle depending on the position on the wheel it'll give a slight amount of power, just enough to move the wheel
You can test them but you'll need to open the motor again to get to the connector.
I'm guessing you'll need to replace the hall sensor board, or replace the bad sensor; not sure which is easier, but there's a few YouTube videos. The bike is powered by a BBSHD, correct (based on their website)?
