I've bought a total of 15 of the DeWalt used packs from user 'Current-Pille' who advertised a large, cheap quantity of them on the forum.
A number of the packs had no faulty cells at all, but of those packs that were faulty, the cell that was most often badly matched was the middle cell on the opposite row to the one with the main power connections.
This cell has relatively long runs of the springy wire that runs to the original BMS connectors. I'm wondering if the length of this wire causes it to not to sit firmly, leading to a poor connection. Might be worth bearing in mind if anyone is using complete packs and a DeWalt charger.
