Hello all, I am a long time shade-tree fabricator, but any time I can get something already made for my purposes that is reasonably priced, experience has taught me to go that route instead of trying to re-invent something myself.

I saw some mention of something like I am describing in another post, but I don't know where to start. Please point me in the right direction?

I'm not afraid of going to the local machinist and have him drill some holes in a sproket, but if there is something I can just buy and bolt on, even better.

If I had the cash, I'd have my own CnC machine in the shop, but for now I have to make do with the best I can produce with dremel and drill-press

Thanks in advance! :)

Crap, Miles! you beat me to it!

Matts adapter is $49, and although that may sound significant, the part where his adapter really shines is after you get a large sprocket onto your left-side-drive. No sooner are you done with a build, and then you realize you probably want a different tooth-count for faster top-speed, or better hill-climbing torque. Not only would you have to buy a new sprocket, selling the old sprocket is unlikely. Chainrings are not only easy to find, selling the old one is very possible.

Matts adapter accepts cheap and common front chainrings, and I once got a 42T for free off a trash-day half-bike. Its in the "resources" stickie, at the top of the "non-hub" section: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=7192

The bottom pic is the "Hillbilly Deluxe" disc I cut from the bottom of a $2 thrift-store skillet...(tip: drill the center mount first, and then spin the wheel in the forks to mark the 130mm-BCD circle)

Now all I need is to wait till pay-day  (Unless I can float it lol! Got a bit of a "slush fund" for Dad's Amped bike project  just don't tell him this part is going for mine  )

Gonna send Recumpence a PM!
