Samsung 25R/LG 18650HE2/ Sony VTC5 high power 18650 battery

Well I did a tryout, yup you need very high temperature to shrink the 10cm heatshrink. I had to set the temperature switch in highest position.

Cells were heated up, you can feel it, but it looks so nice I did all to my packs
After shrinking I put all packs in refrigerator to cool down...

I have bought these heatshrinks form Hobbyking.

Thanks mate! 8)

Okay I have to set discharge voltage to 2,5V.

I have discharged 1S12P 25R with 10A to 3,3V.
And charged with 15A to 4,2V.
Total in amp is 26A, so I think is not bad at all?

Oops I see it now!
Thanks for correction 8)

Thanks for your help!
I am happy with these packs :D

When cells are parallel connected internal Ohm should be lower right?

Can you guys tell me what guage of wire you recommend for lead wires on a 48 volt pack rated for 50 amps?

For 50A continuous the minimum would be 12AWG with not appreciable heat issues for ebike applications. 10AWG is the right one

Anyone else having issues getting 25r cells from China currently ?

evva is out has been for over a week. being told this Wed more will be in so fingers crossed.

Does anyone knows operating temperature range of these cells.
I would like to store them in a refrigerator at -17 Celsius, is that a good idea?

for a long storage time? no problem if they are bulk, new, unwelded, unglued and very good insulated and in vacuum if possible for avoiding corrosion / quick freeze

I am doing a giant battery order right now if any of you guys want to jump in. I am getting samsung 25r packs contructed with bms. I am doing a 20k order...so i am getting good pricing.

I can get authentic 25r bare cells for $5 as many as you want.... plus shipping from southern california.

If anyone is interested let me know soon via PM.

I will require a $50 deposit to make sure you are serious...the rest you pay when i am ready to ship in roughly 2 weeks.

Kinda pricey? We can get those cheaper in europe

Wow that seems kind of low. I wonder if they are authentic. I think i am getting those cells as low as i can get them without buying by the 10,000

I am not sure of shipping cost on smaller orders but I can sell boxes of 100 25rs shipped direct to your door anywhere in USA for $400.

So guaranteed authentic samsung 25rs here in USA for $4 each. Isnt that super cheap? Please tell me if it isn't.

For smaller orders i have to charge 5 dollars a cell to make it worth it...i think i can do $5 shipped but i would have to look at my shipping and packaging costs and then decide if its worth my time and headache to deal with.

Selling boxes of 100 for $400 shipped is the way to go i think.

Has anyone bought and actually tested and cut apart those cells?

They seem too cheap...i dont know how someone can sale that cheap as a viable business model given what I think those cells cost. But i might be getting ripped off and someone is out there wholesaling samsung 25r for ridiculous cheap. A quick look on ebay and i cant find them for under $6 in any quantity.

When i see a battery priced too cheap i immediately think phony.

The other thing that makes me skeptical is why are they that green color? i have never seen samsung 25rs that color but maybe its an older model? What makes me weary is they are the same green color as the fony sonys.

Why did samsung choose the same color as sony to color their battery anyway? I am new the to the 18650 business so pardon my ignorance. I have always known samsung 25r batteries to be sweet baby blue.

Samsung 25R's are 3.85 each from EVVA in 1k USD order size.

If you want to save money, get them shipped by sea.

If you want to resell these, USD 5 is absolutely the minimum I would resell them for. And I'm not reselling. 18650 pack building are not for newbs.

If the price is to good to be true. Is it just some old saying ?
Green Machine is a level player. Lot's of ground work to setting these things up. Big orders are the only way to get price breaks.

So you are getting them for $3.85 in china plus shipping? or does 3.85 include air shipping?

I am not that interested in reselling cells at all i am just wondering if there is someone getting samsung 25r cells way lower than market value. I pay less than 3.85 a cell in china (fob china) ...but i am doing a 20 thousand dollar order. I am getting 25r ebike packs made with BMS for an ebike i am bringing to market.

LOL

they are original, and new ones are green, a bit better in performance than blue. It's just a quantity thing. They are even cheaper (under 3€) for 1000+pcs. I saw some prices based on 40000 pcs, and they are really low, so don't be surprised.
