So I was trying to pry open this new hub motor to check on it, and in the process I accidentally left a scratch on the side of the motor windings. I definitely stripped it to the bare copper. I'm wondering if it will still run, as I only scratched a few wires on the outside which are together in a bunch. On a side note, I'm really impressed with this motor. It's the first one out of China that I've seen which came installed with a protective resin coat, which in my case really paid off and stopped rust completely.
