Maybe good for commercial Ebikes.

I guss Swalbe didn't realize yet that there are powerfull Ebikes out there that desperately need robust 3 in tires. So far, even their DH tires are on the small side.

Very nice!

Great tires for 10-35mph use. Anything over that and you are right, you need a bit more meat.

I think my wife's car tires are cheaper than those! I guess the pricing is still in line with the typical Schwalbe tire. My folding Marathon tire was close to $50 ouch. Good to know Schwalbe's got specific stuff or us though. This would be perfect for people who are looking to resist punctures they may've been getting. Thanks for sharing this. Expensive, but I guess I might still give in to the temptation to get a set of one of these.

Thin (1.75"), 26" or higher means no good for me...
I run 24" wheel and 2.1" tires...
Epic Fail

What he ^ said, but at least it's a step in the right direction.

The 'Crazy Bob' comes in a 2.35 width, but all the other ones are nothing special. But then there's not too much special about a 20mph e-bike anyway

I'm just tickled to know they are recognizing E-Bikes as a specific market!

You know you've arrived when Schwalbe is making tires for ya! 8)

I'll still be running Cyclops tires and such, but it's just great to see the acceptance E-Bikes are getting now that they are really starting to main-stream! :D

The Schwalbe Crazy Bob 2.35" tires have substantial weight and impressive load ratings (950 gm /135kg on 24" and 995 bm / 150 kg on 26") but no specs on puncture resistance. I would feel compelled to use both a liner and a slimed tube with this tire.

As for speed, the Schwalbe ebike tires appear to be certified for 50 kph continuous -- much better than the 20mph speed limitation for prebuilt bikes in the North American markets.

What percentage of ebikes are going over 30mph?

I think this is a good thing. Manufacturers are never going to give a product for outliers like the high-powered ebike group. It's just too small, at least for now.

What tire does Stealth use on their bikes?

I would think serious downhill tires would fit the bill, though they aren't very good on the street.

Stealth use 'Crazy Bob's' for their street tire option (at least they did last time i checked). I recently swapped my Maxxis Hookworms out for Crazy Bob's and im much relieved at my new found wet weather grip. The hookworms were going to end up killing me based on the amount of times i spun out with them on wet roads. Rolling resistance is quite low with the crazy bobs. For e-bikes, i believe both Crazy Bobs and Holyrollers offer the best compromise temperate climate style of tread pattern for the street (shallow checkerboard pattern with impressive sidewall grip coverage).
