Hi,

My BL-36 controller is dead after only one year of use. I am searching for an equivalent in third party parts for a Wilderness BL-36 500w (Brushless) that use 3 SLA batteries 12v 13a.

thank for your help

i bought mine on ebay here:

Interesting, but this one is not for a brushless (it is mentioned "for brush motors "). I am now waiting for an answer from the seller. Thank you very much! :D
If anybody know another one it will be appreciated.

Lyen here on ES has a few threads for various brushless controllers from basic all the way up to extreme. http://ebikes.ca also has controllers you could use for this, and http://ebikekit.com probably does too.

I just bought the Lyens brushless sensorless controller, and it's a cadilac of a controller. You have no hall wires in a WE kit unless it is very old, so you have to find a brushless sensorless controller, sometimes called pedal first.

But of the less expensive sensorless controllers the Aotema/ Wilderness Energy one is actually one of the better ones. So don't go for the crystalyte one if you want an improvement. Lyens can build you his controller for any voltage you want but the 45 amps vs 22 will blow your batteries a lot faster. Most likely he can set the amps lower too if you want. At 36v 30 amps, that controller would stay cool forever.

If you live in the US get your stock aotema controller from High Tech Bikes.

Finally it was just a bad contact...

Anyway I will remember this thread for the futur
Thank you all !
