These changes so far listed only on version B of the roller brake version of the Nexus 3 speed:

Claim by Shimano is the drive is 2.0 and 1.5 times stronger. This in addition to more stable shifting and better sealing.
Rather than second gear being direct drive now third gear is direct drive.
Gear ratio spread is now closer at 158% rather than 186%.
