Show board index instead of image with link to board index

Currently https://endless-sphere.com/ pretty much just shows a image with a link to go to https://endless-sphere.com/forums/
I suggest showing the board index right away so users dont have to click that image.

If using Apache this can be added to the .htaccess file:

DirectoryIndex forums

Seems like a good idea to me, are there other reasons why this isn't the case now?
