The V2 Phaserunner predates the speed/thermistor demux circuit that showed up in V4 and later. With a modern L10 or Z9 motor (All-Axle v3, etc.), the combined speed+temp signal cannot be split into the CA-DPS's separate inputs without a custom demux circuit, opening the motor to separate the signals at the source, or skipping motor temp and using an external spoke-magnet speedo into the CA. TL;DR: ideal for rebuilding a 2018-era Grin setup, or for someone comfortable with the speed/temp workaround. Not a drop-in for a brand-new All-Axle v3 build expecting thermal rollback out of the box.
