Hallo!
New E300 is so sluggish, moves around 200 meters and die.
I put wattmeter on; with wheel up, he use ~50wats. With me (75kg) to start ride - 500watts. After 100m controller is warm.
No money for LiPo, new motor and controller. The only need is for a pensioner who has difficulty walking to be able to ride to a store or pharmacy, about 2 km away.
Shunt mod helps? Or new most powerful fets? Maybe it is transmissions problems?
Thanks

No. I send scooters owner to seller. He said that the scooter was rolling and that was the end of their responsibility. She also canceled to open dispute in consumer protection office :D

The owner should just enjoy it as is. The components on those things won’t support performance upgrades. They are designed to barely meet their advertised specs, if that.

Moded slighty controller. I ride 3.4 miles with 2 moderate climbs, at +3 Celsius. I inflated the tires to a pressure of 3.5 bar :)
2.5 miles for 200 lbs will be ok

Per the Razor manufacturer page for it, it's using lead acid batteries. If these sat around low or empty for any length of time, they may be damaged and unable to supply the power the system needs. Or the charger might not be charging them correctly or fully. (which can also damage them; the longer SLA are not fully charged, the more damage that happens to their plates (sulfation).)

Try a different 24v battery and see if it works any better.

it's also just a brushed motor, with just a switch for a throttle (the page refers to another model that does have a variable speed throttle), so it probably doesn't even have a controller, just relays, like this one I posted about:

If you have no budget for more powerful batteries, motor or controller then you are stuck where you are at. Personally, I think the best bang for the buck is a crazy cart 900W motor that bolts in place, 48 brushed controller and some combination of batteries to get you 750W to 1000W. I managed those upgrades for ~$110 buying new items. You can always exchange time for money (wait for better deals used)
