Strech & Seal A123 packs? cheap alternative to protect....

so i checked out my local electronics store to find to shrink wrap .. about 50$ for about est 5 feet ... i think 4-5" wide...

out of my price range especially if i decide to go with a 133v build in the future...

i've decided to wrap each string of 3.3v 5p packs with it ...

i know its not the best out there.. but there really is no chance of contact even with no protection when i configure the pack as per all the 5 p pack with be sitting together vertically ..it will also make it easier and cheaper to remove and fix a pack..

.... what do you think ????

I'll be using the 238 mm wide tubing for a battery pack I'm building:

It is sold in one-foot pieces, so if you need it longer you need to put a note in the Special Instructions on the ordering page. When I ordered it, I said I needed my six-feet as four 18" pieces. They sent me one single long piece, which is even better; I can cut it to the exact length I need.

Stretch-wrap can be damn tough stuff. The shipping/packaging industry would be a mess without it.
