I did a conversion on an old MTB to create a mid-drive I could ship to Europe for a trip through the Dolomite Mts in Italy. The battery pack is stored in the trunk rack and it is made of 18650 cells in holders that can be removed. They can be legally carried in the aircraft cabin as single cells.
