Tongsheng Tsdz8 : How to disable PAS mode while using throttle

Hello everyone!

I'm working on a project and i want basically to disable PAS while I'm using the throttle. I know it may sound nonsense as most of you bought this kit for the torque PAS. I don't intend to delete it, just have a mode that is disabled and throttle enabled.

I am aware of OSF on tsdz2 which would be totally possible, but can anyone think of a DIY way of achieving such a thing on tsdz8?

im curious why you even care for such a feature?
anyways, as of right now i can only suggest you to try set to PAS0 and try the throttle.
if that dont work, i think you are out of luck for the moment, there are some different official firmware Versions around but i doubt they have changed the throttle function.

Unfortunately it doesn't work with PAS 0. The reason behind my question is for a project i have in mind. Using the LCD throttle input to connect an MCU (esp8266) which it will take measures from a cadence sensor and sends signal (voltage) to LCD. Like that, i could have a mode where it would be similar to Bafang with of course customizable assist levels (as bafang has).

This is my spare TSDZ2B controller, but the TSDZ8 is probably similar. It has a cadence sensor in the top left of the circuit board. You can find the three wires for power, signal and ground.

The three phase wires for the motor are seen, with little lugs on the ends. There is a five wire plug for its hall sensors. THat leaves a three wire plug, which must be for the torque sensor.

I believe that's everything you need. Go knock yourself out,

I have a PAS switch for MTB. It is necessary if I don’t want to kill myself on trails. I am just bypassing the black wire on PAS connector, very simple.
I have done it on BBS02 and TS8 motors.
