Hello all,
The charger for my 2012 Kalkhoff Pro Connect 10 Speed Pedal Electric Bicycle has failed and I'm having a very tough time finding a replacement.
The charger needs to connect to a Derby Cycle Werke NKY397B2 36v battery driving a Panasonic mid-drive system. The charger that failed is a NKJ051B charger with the following specifications:
Input: AC220-240V 50/60Hz 195W
Output: DC42V 3.6/4.1A
Link example: https://www.ebikestore.de/zubehoer/panasonic-schnell-ladegeraet-36-v-deluxe/a-922/
I picked up a generic battery charger from http://www.electricbikeseattle.com/ but the battery management system (BMS) of the battery pack appears to be preventing the charge. The battery has four posts, labeled: +, -, C, and T. What do I need to connect to what in order to make the BMS happy and accept a charge? Or must I search the world for an OEM replacement charger?
Does anyone make a charger that will work with the battery's management system so that the BMS and battery will accept a charge?
Alternately, does anyone know of an electronics repair person that can repair my existing charger?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
