I have a battery someone gave me from an old erad that I’d like to use as my backup. It has a three pin charging port connector that I’m not finding anywhere. It kind of looks like mini xlr, but th
[/img]e male has plastic fins between the pins and the female has grooves that receive the fins.

Anyone know what this is called so I can try to source one in order to wire an adapter for a second charger?
Or can I rewrite/ have it rewired to something more standard?

Thanks for any help!

Cutting off connectors and replacing with your standard

is a most basic 101 level skill for this hobby.

Question: what is that third wire for? Temperature sensor?

Trickier to replace the port in the battery case though, which is the female of this plug. I’m up for splicing connectors but I’m not quite ready to open up battery packs.

I’m actually trying to locate a male of this type so I can make an adapter for my smart charger instead of having a separate charger for this battery, I’m just striking out if identification of this connector. If all else fails I’ll cannibalize this charger and use this cable end for the adapter

I know I've seen that connector identified on ES within the last year or so. Finding the post is your task. Have you tried some searches? Starting with something like "3 pin connector" search term?

It is more of an oddball. Almost like the Grin-termed ST3, but not quite.
