hi
so after my blow-out i am trying to re-configure my packs. there were two 36v nicd packs which took a beating. the most burnt one went open circuit the other just got a hole melted in it and is now at 31wh/kg.
i have made a new pack from these cells for testing. when charging the 12v pack rises to 16.7v, some of the cells reach 1.8v! is this evidence of increased internal resistance or cell damage?
im going to test the overall pack but if the capacity is bad i want to try to pick out the limiting cells by detecting hot spots or cell revesal when drained and hopfully make a usable pack out of it.
