I don't know, but wouldn't it be easier to ask the seller? Surely the seller can give the details?
The listing itself was kind of unforfilling, it really did not reveal much.

Its for the Honda GY6 go cart series. Honda no longer makes them, but there are now Chinese clones for sale.

edit: I'm not sure what the posted gearbox does. It "might" be a motor RPM reduction with a reverse...

This is posted as a 'reverse gearbox' for the gy6 and it looks a lot different though?

i was thinking of making a transmission for my motor bicycle. i keep burning out motors because i dont have an overdrive. i've seen Thud's dog gear transmission and want to know if anyone has a perfected model and parts list. As an alternative, this seemed small enough. i asked the sellers but havent heard anything yet, let you know if i do. thanks for all the replies :)

the answer is - it's a gear reducer.
from supplier-
"Thank you for contacting us regarding your question is a gear reducer and no is not a muti-speed and is single.

have a nice day"

Well that was fun, thanks for playing 'guess that thing' have a great weekend!

So it works like a jackshaft except it is used for driving the two rear wheels. Lame not to think about that when you first posted, now knowing what it is that I saw the pics of the device once more it is easy to see what gives it awat. The two opposite axles are the give away and it didn't even occur to me the first time I saw the pics.
