What spares do you keep around

WOW I feel Sooooo less crazy now that so many ES people have chimed that "spare bike" is a great idea. Honestly I respect you all so much (like ES is my most frequented Internet place everyday the last 3 years) and your opinions mean very much to me.

The only downside to having two bikes is that they tend to breed or something.

"Feel like"? Muhahaha!

Definately a spare charger, not only are they unreliable but an extra one for work or a long trip for opportunity charging on the road.

A second ebike is a good idea for any ebike enthusiast... nut like me who turned it into a fun hobby. Not only for a spare, but for your friends, That way your not stuck indoors when they visit on a nice day. :)

Naturally a tire repair kit with plastic tire spoons, but in my 7,000 kms of riding (present ebike) on roads and trails I've only had one flat.

Good quality, puncture-proof, fat tires are an important modification for any e-biker.

2 tubes, tire levers, multie tool, rubber gloves, first aid kit, wire stripper/cutter, electric tape, blade conectors, (I like and use andersons but on the road I prefer not to carry my anderson crimper) zip ties, fuses, pump, sun block, paper towels, handy wipes, old glasses, a pen and a bit of paper.

That stuff stays on my trike in a topeak bag. Small quanties of each.

I have not needed all that stuff but several have come in very handy. Including tending to a lovely lady with my first aid with ointment and bandage. Modest road rash. Never know what you'll need. Almost forgot. I have a cobra tube for the rear wheel of my trike. So far no flats on that wheel because a removal on the road would not be fun, So the cobra is a 2 ended not circle tube. Hope I never need it but if so then I cut out the old and stuff in the cobra. There is an overlap and the valve stem goes through a hole to conect the circle.
