It appears that if the UK accept imports of bleached meat (no thanks) the 'new tariffs' could disappear?? Seems like trumpy thinks post brexit we will be happy to lower our food standards to accept meat products bathed in bleach due to age? or unsanitary handling? - Personally i would rather go veggie..

What under the table deals is the US offering your country?? I would really like to hear from the penguins, but ;)

It's not bleached meat. It's chlorine water solution used to rinse dead carcasses. You are welcome to each chicken with salmonella. Your body, your choice.

Might as well stop drinking water and taking showers. You ingest more chlorine that way than a chicken washed in chlorine.

It has been rather silent here about possible ways out of the tariff game, I dont think there has been any real suggestions in what we could do.
And now the idiot stands and mocks the countries that have tried to negotiate or smaller countries with weak economies begging him not to crush them.

The politicians here seem to be taking a slightly more cautious approach and imposing extra tariffs on certain goods from red states. Unlike some who have responded with the same tariffs that the US imposes on them. It would definitely feel better to fight back like Canada or China, but unfortunately that also hurts us so much.

I heard there's some truth to the rumors that some countries charge some tariffs on goods from the U.S. trying to enter their country. Could this really be true?

"How to identify dying/under threat local markets 101"
Sure and a prudently applied tariff could halt the decline of a local industry long enough to retool for alternative production, or just ease the decline and cushion the impact to a community thus negate or trade-off the over all negative inflationary impact such levies incur.

And while not the most well informed individual, Im not aware of any nation of people or penguins applying blanket tariffs as suggested by Orange Voldemort

All of them.

1st 10 mins of this Aussie vid explains why/how US$$$ already run the show down under.. When all it takes is a bulky brown envelope delivered to an expat toff to oust the prime minister and change the governing party without an election. Well draw your own conclusions,

I'm hearing the tariff plan was a bit too ambitious and got rolled back due to mass pressure.
Now everyone's at the bargaining table, with some room to improve, except for China, i think.
It sounds like this was shock tactic.

For the moment, my personal panic buying is off.

I hope it all works out and we don't have a global economic depression. That'd be nice.

i;m praying for a healthy battle.png

Yeah, had massive insider trading pump and dump vibes.

I guess it's time to buckle down. Though I have been "panic" buying since Trump 1.0, but you always forget a thing, or two, or three.
Just seems that our chosen hobby is in the crosshairs, let alone the global economy.
