Where do the Grin Tech Troubleshooting Questions Get the Best Visibility?

Hi All, I have 3 Grin Tech motor+controller+battery kits and I'm wondering where exactly in these forums is the best place to ask questions about fine tuning and trouble shooting these kits. Grin has been OK with helping me trouble shoot but it's also been really slow, and my current bike, #3 below, has been down now for 2+ months. And after sending the controller back to Grin based on their email assessment I'm now hearing its actually 100% AOK based on their bench testing. So I'm looking to connect with folks that can also provide suggestions to try to help get me back online but am not sure where in this massive forum I'll find the most Grin knowledgeable and experienced audience. So that's mainly my question for now, is in which main heading and maybe using what title will I get the best visibility with the Grin Tech knowledgeable crowd. Tks! Jimmy Mac

1) Fat45 SLW wind with HG torque freehub and Statorade + Baserunner Controller + SuperHarness + ST102 Display + Grin 52v14Ah Shark battery on a 2015 Salsa Bucksaw that has been nothing but perfectly dialed since day one, though if I push it hard up a long steep hill in the heat of summer I can bump up against the baserunner's power draw or thermal thresholds.

2) AAv3 STD wind with HG torque freehub and Statorade + Phaserunner Controller + SuperHarness + ST102 Display + Custom 72v21Ah P50B SuperShark battery on a 2003 Giant TCX cyclocrosser now commuter that is solid but likely could still benefit a smidge from some settings tweaking.

3) AAv3 SLW wind with HG torque freehub and Statorade + Phaserunner Controller + Superharness + ST102 Display + Grin 52v20Ah SuperShark Battery on a 2018 Surley Preamble for my wife that was parked working 100% AOK last Fall but when brought out 2 months ago its provided nothing but intermittent power about 5% of the time and is completely unrideable, even after 20+ hours in and out of the Phaserunner Suite, along with all sorts of digging in forums and Claude. I found a blue snipped wire, sent pics to Grin, they said send it back, but just heard that wire is intended to be snipped, LOL and the PR is working 100% AOK in their bench testing. So if the PR is 100% AOK, and I'm using 100% factory default settings for the motor, controller and torque freehub body, AND I'm not getting any errors logged whatsoever in the PR suite, Superharness or ST-102 display, despite the bike being completely unrideable, I'm just at a loss of where to trouble shoot next.

Last time I opened up a dead battery from an ebike I had stored long term, four or five of the cells had started leaking and were reading zero volts. Not surprising it couldn't put out much amps.

Storing lithium is problematic. It's best stored down at 3.6V per cell instead of 4.2V, for example. But if the cells get too low, they are dead. So any parasitic drain can do you in.

I'd swap on a new/different battery to troubleshoot. Then you know if the issue is the battery or the rest.

Understood. Tks. It was stored it at 50%. And I did a bunch of testing on the battery. While it technically could be what's causing the faulty behavior, the erratic behavior was visible even at very slight power draw situations, aka slight downhill and fairly light pedaling. Also, just FYI, for now I'm mainly looking for where in the forums it's best to connect with the Expert Grin crowd. Trying to avoid getting to technical in a general thread. Tks again.

I have no opinion on that and no expertise beyond what you'd gain yourself from just looking at the section titles. Grin pays for the site, but they don't run it. Posts from Justin are rare nowadays too. I'd email Grin if you really have something Grin specific. They've kicked highly technical email questions up the ladder before when needed.
