This looks like his last post.

But his last statistical data point of view post on that thread was replying to me.

When I posted my youtube video on there I could see how it took a large chunk of the forum page and how its easy to get lost under useful information posts and rant posts, and I believe dnmun saw his thread started off with useful interesting information but as more and more people jump in its difficult for some one new to read all those pages of text, and when people don't agree then people try to win arguments with insults and undermining the poster, and I believe thats where the term 'trash/ruined my thread' comes from.
Unfortunately forum technology has not evolved enough to be able to present posts that might be the most useful or preferred posts others think would most like to see.. There are efforts to deal with that but I don't know of anything that really is a nuclear bomb solution. Sometimes I post what I thought was a pretty useful comment on slashdot but mine are always super buried deep away where you would only ever see if unless you click on the "+" icon virtually while other posters texts show up expanded for everyone to see clearly.
I assume some people even find my signature annoying, I think even sometimes I do, but I will change it over time as I always have.
I think people just have accept forums for how they are and they are pretty annoying in a lot of ways.
I don't think its worth getting angered blood though, as that just brings on health problems like heart disease and cancer etc.
When I think about forums having problems and reveal a disturbing issue I think about whirlpool.net.au where they have a forum section called "In the news" you have to sign in to see it and its mostly what ever major headline news is hitting Australia.

I remember some big controversial news hit I can't remember what it was, maybe it was a large group of people died trying to illegally reach Australia by boat or something of that nature at least, I went to that particular thread inside of topic "In the news", sure enough a thread on that new news had been started and I proceeded to post a point of view that I felt little people probably have considered..
I typed it pretty quickly, like maybe a minute? and when I hit the post button about "20 COMPLETE pages" of users posts had already gone through in that one minute I had typed mine. I then realized that everyone in there masses was coming on that thread topic posting a short sentence point of view and then leaving as it was impossible to read what I was looking at as mindless crap.
I hit the refresh button again and it appeared to be about 1 page a second of entirely new posts... I then saw the madness of masses people posting a point of view etc and no one else reading it, I honestly believe no one and I mean no one could possibly be bothered reading all those individual posts on that topic even if it became their full time job.
So I saw how it had become 'venting' even though no one else was reading it.. I realized it would make just as much sense writing my point of view on a piece of paper a lone in my room and then burning that piece of paper, because that is all people were doing in that situation. Now I look at this size of this post, and I assume most people can't be bothered reading it either, crazy world huh?
With all that said, maybe some people just need a good slap, but who should decide who gets slapped?
