Where to get Anderson connectors?

I know the feeling, The uk is the same, none anywhere ?...

Can you not use another connector for now till you source you anderson's, All hobby stores stock bullet's Hxt's,XT60's,ec3's etc, I would plain bullet for now 4mm with heat shrink tubing....That i'll get you going ....

In Canberra only place I know of is Jaycar, but they are often out of stock and charge a fortune. Much better to order online through PowerWerx.com.

I have sent you PM as I may be able to help you out.

Thanks heaps for the advice guys..

WIll start search for Ham radio stores now..

The new battery I got is really nicely and professionally terminated with 3 andersons, (+, -, and pre-charge) and very neatly heatshrinked etc.. If it came down to it, I would wait til i got the andersons online before chopping into the existing battery cable.. I am only being precious like that, due to it being my first e-bike.. lol.. If this was my car.. i would have chopped the andersons off this morning for sure.. and done a temporary dodge just to get me running so i could test the gear..

Being my first bike, I still have that over cautious attitude.. lol ... It's amusing now that i think of it..

cheers,

Ed.

p.s. jsut saw your post Philistine.. I must have been typing my reply at the same time.. will read your PM now.. ta

Simple question. I have seen a lot of resellers of these but was just wondering where the ES folks get them?

powerwerx.com

I buy from connectorpros on ebay. They ship fast also. Powerwerx maybe better. Be careful of cheap ones. They melt.

I bought APP from ACER Racing. I also bought their 12 Ga silicone wire. Nice ! http://www.amazon.com/Anderson-Powerpole-Connectors-Pair-Genuine/dp/B005P9CATU/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A6IYOBXTYURJJ

Since you're in the USA - just get them from Mouser. There are no minimum quantities and they are an authorized vendor.

Download Anderson's catalog [ http://www.andersonpower.com/literature/datasheets.html ] and plug in the part numbers to Mouser.com (or octopart.com for other vendors).

And as other's have stated - avoid ebay as they are rife with fakes. Authentic ones have a small 'A' imprinted on the end of the connector housing.
