Will this set up work?

This is going to be my first electric board, so i need some input on if this will work or not..

Board: http://postimg.org/image/p5k5vxdxv/
Trucks: any from ebay
Mount: Alien urban 5
Motor: NTM Prop Drive 50-60 270KV / 2400W
Will 2400watts be overkill?
ESC: This is where i need help..
Battery: 8000mah or 10000mah 6s..
Cover/lid: 3D print ( still working on getting it right)

Im also not too sure about the misc..

Goals:
9+ miles range
25+ top speed

id appreciate any advice :)

I think im going to actually custom make my mount..as with the Alien urban mount im tied down to his gearing, and im looking for a little more speed.
Are there any 63mm motors that can run with 6s.. as i want a big battery and i cant find reasonable priced 10s 5000mah+ ones..
If not ill sick to 50mm and a big battery.. and distance is key for me.

the only trouble im having is how do can configure the mount part to the hanger, i cant really find dimension or angles online.. Im open to buying new trucks,if i already knew their dimensions..

You can use most of the common 150A/120A Car ESC's if you plan on staying at 6S.

If you plan on using more - I would recommend the ESC's which I currently sell which are high quality escs capable of 12S max.

Current mounts available are welded mounts from DIYElectricSkateboard.com.
If you plan on using Caliber Trucks - Alien or Enertion. I should be having Caliber bolt on very soon.

2400W wouldn't be overkill.

However, if you stick to 6S. 22.2V x 90A = 1998 watts and not 2400W (doesn't include inefficiency/losses). The 2400W rating is with 8S voltage.

If you want to reach 25+. I would recommend 8S.

Are you trying to increase your center distance the reason why you are making your own mounts?

Any 63mm motor will run at 6s.

For the 10S 5000mah, you'll have to pair a 5S 5000mah x 2 in series for 10S 10,000mah.

You'll have to decide on your own gearing setup and use the center distance calculator to calculate your center distance.

No i want to go with my own mount, as with the alien urbn 5 mount im bound to his gearing, which has a low top speed.

Ill take your recomendation and look at 8s 8000mah batteries, I think im going to go with SK3 - 5065-275kv as a Motor.

Now i just need to figure out gearing and center distance..

You aren't bound by his gears only his minimum and maximum center distance. You can swap gears anyway you want.

The 50mm sk3 motors are nice. Only issue for me is the 6mm motor shaft. The added 2mm for an 8mm shaft makes a difference. Great motors though.

Thats the hard part of setting up custom mounts. Getting the dimensions right for the hangar. You will save a lot of headache going with the mounts that are already setup and tested. Its a lot of work to get a good fit and something that will stay aligned. The alien probably uses htd 5m pullies and belts. So if you want to change gearing you could swap the motor pully and belt pretty easy.

I have a set of 200mm precision trucks on one board, and 180mm calibers on another. The 200mm trucks make it a lot easier to fit bigger motors on there. I am running the sk3 5055 motors and on the caliber trucks they nearly touch while on the precision trucks they have plenty of room. If you do decide to make your own mounts try to find a set of trucks that has a shape that looks easy, for example the precision trucks are square and don't have any taper. Just bust out a set of calipers and get to measuring.

on 6s 10ah I get over 12miles range geared for 25mph max I think with 8s 10ah you will be able to hit that easy.

So this would work out?

sk3 2700W 6364
gearing
motor:17
wheel: 42
i just not sure if 6s 10000mah is going to be too small for the motor..
and i cant find 8s batterys bigger then 5800mah.

on 5in wheels.

As im going for distance
