WUXING 29DX (Half-Twist Throttle) dissassembly?

Anyone know how to properly dismantle this new ebike throttle? (Wuxing 29DX with red on/off button and 3 battery LED lights)

The twist throttle speed function no longer works (the red on/off and 3 battery LEDS still work fine), I removed screws and when prying it open a little bit and can see a red wire that has come loose that I'm sure I can easily re-solder, but I don't want to destroy it but dissembling incorrectly (I seen a quick post here but was unclear how to dismantle) I am a novice.

Take it off the handlebars, look inside the tub and you'll see three barbs (sometimes two) that have to be lifted at the same time. You therefore need three hands to lift the barbs and two to pull the throttle apart. It's not easy.

You can use a small screwdriver to lift a barb, then wedge a very thin knife blade under it. The problem is that the barbs are so wide. Lifting up one side is not enough. You can use a thin knife to cut off some of the barb, which makes it a bit easier, or, if you get too frustrated, break off one barb completely.

Reassembly is easy. Put the spring in place, wind it up until the magnets are either side of the hall sensor, then push it together.
