This motor is now on the Cannondale and the Dillenger kit will now be swapped from the Trax onto this bike.

Kind of E-bike  It will have DD-motor soon.

IMG_20141105_130423623 (1).jpg2013 Specialized P.Street One, 48v 15ah li ion battery,
26A controller.

Built this box out of plexiglass. Secured by the water bottle mounts and holds both the batt and controller.

A work in progress but she's getting there.

Now this looks really great, did you start a build-thread about this one yet?
Or do you have more pictures of it?

Thanks. Here"s one more:
It"s not completely ready yet. There"s gonna be a windscreen with chrome frame, chrome luggage grill on the back, old-style front lights, etc.
No, there"s no thread. I don"t know why the picture did not appear now as usual. I tried to pack it, but did not help.
This is bit magical. Sometimes same size pics appear, sometimes they don"t.

I love it. My bike is the specialized with very similar box just above your post. Funny cuz yours is exactly what my ultimate goal is. A few questions if you don't mind ..

1. I was just checking out suspension seat posts like yours. How well does it work and what model do you have?

2. What is your battery configuration and amperage?

3. What's the top speed on flats.

Really tight bike man. Well done.

72V x 40A

Running 5.1KW peaks right now feelsgoodman.

Amazing! I haven't seen any similar vehicle on forum.
Waiting for final version :)

Hey, glad you like it :)

Seatpost is the Cane Creek Thudbuster LT 27.2 (found a nice deal for this on amazon and am using a shim to fit it in my larger seat tube) Works well, adds a lot of comfort... feels pretty solid. Haven't done much off-roading yet but so far it feels like I'm using just around half of the travel on mostly roads, so maybe I could go to softer elastomers... (I'm ~165lbs without any gear) however I like that it doesn't move around much when pedaling at super high cadence right now.

Battery is Headway 15AH cells 24S 72v setup into 3 separate blocks to fit it into the frame well. Controller only pulls up to 40A from the batt.

Top speed right now is 50kph on the flats without pedaling and into some headwind(always a headwind here....), can add 2-3kph more if I pedal. I was expecting a bit more with the H4060 motor (supposed to get 60kph in a 26" wheel)
However, running a 24" rear so obviously should be a little less. Might also have to do with the super heavy (1500g) 24 x 3.0 downhill tire running at low pressure (16psi), and also a studded tire up front (19psi).

Also the "5.1KW" peaks was wrong I guess... I didn't have the shunt calibrated in my Cycle Analyst... I thought those high readings were the "phase amp" peaks but I guess the CA doesn't show that and now I'm topping out at just under 3KW readings.

My first project. Many more in production :D

Nice, but white lights on back? Not better red? :)

My first post, what a great forum ES is. Picked this 2001 Cannondale Jekyll 900 SL beauty up yesterday for $333.00. Unbelievably light and in mint condition. I am super excited about this frame and suspension.

This was my 2nd build. I was amazed that the cranks cleared the battery.

Installed the front disk break, hi rise handlebars and electronics. Still need to sort out the battery bag.
