Nice. But its heavy, no? I have 20 kg ebike and 8Fun 750W.
thxs for the comment, I have to measure the weight and will let you know.
In the meantime, you might enjoy this extract of the original commercial stating that this bike IS heavy, indeed  :

Here's my "after". The "before" looks just like it minus the battery and motor. ;)

Before:

After:

I don't always have the grocery carrier on the back, but I took these photos right after a grocery run. All in all, I'm very happy with how it turned out!

Before, stock Norco shore. Horst link rear and a *lot* of travel. Bombproof.
68mm bottom shell and 150mm rear drops.

After, custom case, BBS02 750w, and 48v 15ah samsung custom battery in welded case. 7 speed twist shift with tektro dorado e710s.

Nice norco build samd, how many bricks per side in the awesome looking enclosure? got any closeups?

Here is my 2013 Merida Matts
It didn't see one second of its life as a 'non e-bike'

Straight from the shop to :-
Merida Matts MAC 6T.jpg

Mac 6T didn't see that many Kms (1000 maybe?) kinda wishing i got the 8T or 10T. All that top-end speed wasn't much use and quite unsafe!! (hit 40mph easily with EM3EV 50v triangle pack)
Swapped to 48V 10ah pack and limited controller to 22A to preserve battery and triangle pack moved to another project

and now:-

Merida Matts 40 8Fun.jpg
Loving the mid drive - running the 42T Leckie chain-ring - still plenty of top end speed (50km+) but motor really doesn't like traveling over 40km or so for long periods(drawing over 1000W continuously at 45km/hr according to the CA even with pedaling  ) Motor was very warm/hot after 20km + ride mostly top speed cruising

Not that it's exactly "done" yet, but it "looks" done now, compared to this post:
http://www.endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=235&p=1036226#p1022484

So I guess it's "before" wil be this:
file.php

and it's after will now be this:

Hang a small wooden keg somewhere for decoration and use as functional dog water source at pit stops. 8)

haha thatd be brilliant!!

If I had one, I'd put it on there.

It'd be neat to find one that doesn't hold water, just so I can cut holes in it and use it to put around hte headlight stuff. Or a smallish one that would fit below the headlight, over the front fender. :)

Made box from fiber glass. Putted in pack from 24S 20Ah A123 prismatic cells. Connected in our community made BMS via bluetooth connectivity to phone. Used Kelly controller and Cromotr. Waiting for a ride :) Couple photos

Hello, I'm Anek from Thailand land of now no body smile anymore. It's my e-bike but not finish yet!!!

Thats a neat build stormer.

Few questions from me:
Is this a custom bike or is this frame available for DIY people?
Where is the battery?
How does the rear brake operates?
brake.png

It is custom bike. Start from drawing in actual size by Ai. And then send out for water jet cutting or milling. fork, swing arm, rim & tire i bought it from honda MSX parts.

Some parts from milling & water jet cut

Battery & controller

Brake hose is too short, I'll cut and resizing it. May be draw a new disc make it wider and send it to laser cut use stainless steel 1.2 mm.

(Sorry about my english)

thxs for sharing
I find ur English OK, what about removing that saddle and use the back frame instead - looks too small for me anyway
You should probably start a built thread because I don't think this one is the right place to post built under construction

Thats awesome.

I get lots of smiles when staying in Pattaya. Some I'd rather not get :p
