Cotemar, you may like my SkatE-Pods, shown here with handle bar and basket. Of course, you may remove the handle bar/basket and still use it as an electric skateboard

sk8norcal, why do you think it will be pulled off KS?

The brake on my E-TWOW S2 just stopped working... it now makes a thump thump thump noise from the front wheel but does not slow down above 5kph. Below 5kph it appears to brake normally....

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there an easy fix?

For any technical information please contact our support team at support@e-twow.com

Thanks, emailed my information (purchase place/time, serial number etc) yesterday and waiting for a reply.

I rode around a bit yesterday using the rear fender brake, and after a while the front regen brake started working again! Could it simply be a case of overcharging the battery? The problem only occurs after charging.

Why is my e-brake not working sometimes when my E-Twow is fully charged?
Just as the battery charger shuts off when the battery is fully charged. Your E-Twow e-scooter electronics are smart and do not let the e-brake put more power into the battery. In most cases after riding the first .8 km (1/2mile) the e-brake will work normally.

Recommend using the rear brake if you need to stop in the first .8 km (1/2mile) when riding with a full battery.

Thanks! I could not find this information in the FAQ on e-twow.com, but I am very glad to know.

The only other thing wrong with the scooter is the accelerator trigger - it gets "sticky" and does not return back to the starting position. I assume it just needs some grease. What grease is suitable and how/where do I apply it?

You can try 2 things.

1) Remove the display cover and make sure the right side transistor is not rubbing on the throttle
2) Use plastic lube like this http://www.amazon.com/CRC-Plastic-Multi-Purpose-Precision-Lubricant/dp/B0013J41KW

Thanks! Will check the transistor rubbing tonight.

How is this scooter climbing hills?

Mine is the Eco model and does not get up hills very well (I weigh 74kg). With a run-up it is ok, but it struggles in many places where my friend's electric skateboard flies up with ease.

That is impressive... doesn't look like that steep a hill but big enough to be a problem for my model.

Is there any way to upgrade my scooter's power? :p

You would have to change the battery and controller.
Not something you would want to do after the fact as the price to buy the Master or Booster was only $50 more than the Eco model.

Boost model is 33v versus the 24v? Is that right?

Master 24 volts 8.5 Ah larger battery, has a range of 25 miles and speed of 17.4
Booster 33 volts 6.5 Ah battery, has a range of 22 miles and a speed 18.6

Agree, that wouldn't be worth it. My scooter was on special when I bought it, so I sacrificed model choice for a good price.

I'll just have to learn to kick more :)
