    Terminating the 15Ah and 20Ah Cell-Man cells

What is the reason for the extra parts for the bolts? Wouldn't it be easier to just make the whole upper clamp the same shape as the bolt clamp so only two parts need to be made for one tab connection? I would guess only the upper clamp is copper to save weight and the lower and bolt clamps are...

    Terminating the 15Ah and 20Ah Cell-Man cells

Paul my design would require some cnc milling I wouldn't want to make a bigger pack with all the manual machining that would take :) Got acces to a manual mill so Ill try to knock up a box out of some PP sheet. Will mill out a slot in the sheet for each cell like crodrivers setup and bolt each...

    Terminating the 15Ah and 20Ah Cell-Man cells

Tried to do a little prototype compact 4s box. The plexiglass was just what I had around, some other plastic material that is easier to machine would be better. Done in a hurry and with hand tools so please ignore the poor finish The bolts through terminals is not really ideal Ill change it to...

Testing the big 15 and 20Ah LiFePO4 cells is tough! *Pics*

Does these cell need to be compressed like ex. thundersky cells or is okay to just build a box that fit the cells but with maybe 0,5-1 mm of air at the end of a cell stack?

Is DC more lethal than AC.....why

Dunno what is the most lethal but AC is in my opinion more dangerous because you got the neutral in the ground unless you are working on a isolated output. At least with DC you normally need to touch two conductors.

What are you getting for Christmas?

1 week holiday on Tenerife with the family and extremely poor weather, had one day of light sun. On top of that no one would rent me a motorcycle because I'm under 23. Renting a car no problem, insurance companies are strange :(

    Citroen saxo electrique

Yeah I got the ev lite very easy to do. I dont think the controller limits at 100A the evlite can read the amp draw and it tops at 230A at acceleration. Dual agnis would be cool but the gear, differential and motor is all in one unit. Differential and gear is in one side(left) and a axle...

    Lifepo4 and nicd

I dumped this idea and started planning a TS conversion like you plan to do. With a new charger the only thing that wont work is the energy meter from others experience. I'm planning to use the water system to heat up the cells in cold weather. Ive talk a little with 3x and their priced are...

    Citroen saxo electrique

I got it for 40000 dkr about 5300euro. Its a great little car for city driving but it lacks the top speed so on roads with speed limits above 80kmh you are not so popular :P It also struggles to keep 80kmh up the hills. Be sure to get a car with batteries from 2000+ since there was a defect...

What do Power Plants do at Night?

This is why we want electric cars that can charge at night and also be used as one huge battery on the grid. If you have your car plugged in during high demand times you can sell to the grid. Heres a page that shows the actual power use and import/export of electricity in Denmark. Its in danish...

Imaging having that much time and money to do your conversion :D I'm about to start on the battery boxes for my saxo electrique lithium conversion (ts cells) and plan to do something similar but mainly for heating the cells to 10 Celsius in cold weather. My initial plan is to run copper pipes...
