My Luna cycle battery charger for my 52 volt 13.5 amp battery died. I order the new standard 2 amp 52 volt Luna Cycle charger. They sent me a charger marked Umini 2 amp 58.8 volt Charger. Customer Support immediately answered my email, said it's the "correct charger…...52 v batteries 100% is roughly 58." I have a healthy respect for the power and safety standards of lithium batteries. Before I use the charge, wouldn't mind a second opinion. Any thoughts??? Thanks.

Yes a 14S Li-Ion pack is around 58.8V fully charged. 4.2V per cell times 14.

52V is the nominal (average) voltage, 3.7V per cell times 14. Comes to 51.8V, so they call it 52V.

That is the correct voltage for your pack. I would recommend testing the output voltage of the charger with a trusted meter just to verify the setting is correct. Over 58.8v would be dangerous.
