Good reasons could be so that you could appear to be operating the bike legally as an ebike. or you might actually decide to operate it legally as an ebike. A final reason would be as a backup in case you run out of battery or have some other failure in the electrical system.

So fraud and haha yeah right and something nobody would ever do are the reasons? Seems weak.

Fraud is the only growth industry in USA though. Maybe by committing obvious deceit they hope to ascend to the halls of power.

I'm not advocating such deceit. I'm only pointing out the practical reasons for having the pedals.

The gearbox is understandable though, it can be daunting to disassemble something complicated. Mostly unfounded fear ... it's rare that something's held together in a way that springs go flying when you pop a cover off.

i sure that's why no official service documentation was made available and they say it can only be service by a authorized bike shop.
i believe there is only one official bike shop in my state that's sells Stealth bikes if the v-boxx fails i will contact them.

i would have to be really pissed off too remove the chain i'm sure i won't be doing that.
plus combining pedaling and operating the motor drive at the same time while riding is kinda fun.
