Am looking for something like an XT90 but for phases.
There's the triangle XT60 kind of connector but that's too small.
I need something with about 6mm terminals.

Any ideas?

How much current are you talking about?

About 80A
From Grin's website: https://ebikes.ca/learn/connectors.html#mt60

"The MT60 is a 3-pin version of the XT60 connector designed for the 3 phase wires of a brushless motor. This plug is more compact than 3 Andersons and can handle the ~100 amp peak phase current of a powerful ebike hub motor without melting. On the downside, you don't have the flexibility of swapping around the phases to experiment with different pinouts when trying to map a controller to a given motor. And, like the XT60 connectors, it is only available with solder lugs, there are no crimpable pins available so it is much slower to instal. We've adopted the MT60 connector as a molded panel mount plug in the updated 2017 Phaserunner devices because the compact size and high current specs allowed us to fit it inside the molding. And when we have customers who run into problems melting anderson plugs on higher power motor phase leads, we usually suggest a switch to the MT60."

I'm actually thinking of trying one of these and seeing if it will melt or not, since I know I'd be over the 100A peak, but mainly in bursts.

You could also go with single XT150 connectors and bundle them together:

I don't know who rated the MT60 but trust me, at 60A+ they are toast.

About the XT150, forgot about those, seems it can work though a bit too big but will sure consider thanks!

I use the MT-60 connectors.

My controller is set at 53 amps on the Battery side so on the Phase Amps side I'm sure that I'm getting near the limits of the connector.

Cannot offer another thing to purchase, but this is an area where I'm thinking of just splitting it up and using three XT-60 connectors with the two legs soldered into one. That gives some redundancy.

From lot's of use I know the copper connectors loosen up over time. You can stick a small wedge into the connector and restore some outward pressure but it gradually will weaken.

XT-90 connectors are awesome. The best. And the one that has the built in resistor (green marking) completely eradicates any spark issue for anything around 50 volts. Some say that at higher voltage it gets a bit sparky.

I think I'll be running 60A battery max, so not a whole lot more. Have you ever noticed the connector getting hot after running full throttle for a while?

I can't notice any heat because the heat seems to flow out to the wires fast enough to cool it off quickly.

What I notice is that the MT-60 connectors just sort of get looser over time.

The XT-90 are solid as a rock and I would in the future use them for everything, but I have a bunch of XT-60 stuff in use as well as these MT-60s.

And like I said I might use up some old XT-60s by swapping in three sets for one set of MT-60s.
