Well, there wasn't any discoloring, but I've unplugged the controller from the battery, opened it up, and touched the cap almost 10 minutes after being disconected from the battery, and it was still warm although it was 70*F. And controller wasn't used prior to opening, only connected and powered up, so case and FETs were stone cold, except that cap. So can't imagine how hot it was getting there sealed in nicely in controller box, connected to almost 90V.
Anyway, it rated to Chinese 100V, so on real 90V I'm sure it won't last very long.
Maybe other caps were hot, but didn't have time to check that out.
