Chances are you were going to reply with www.choppersus.com

Most of their 24" and 26" rims and wheels in pretty much every colour and every width are listed as out of stock.

And they've been out of stock since last July. I've emailed them a couple of times about it, and it's always the pretty much the same response. "By the end of the month. Or early (insert the next month here)".
Three months later and still nothing.

Any suggestions?

No kidding, I love choppersus but it seems like they are going out of business or something. Sucks as I'm trying to build up some board track tribute bikes and they had some great products for my application.

What I really want to find is something like the surly large marge but without the $130 price tag. Those rims look great with 12ga spokes and the choppersus extra wide fw/disk hub

For Europeans, http://classic-cycle.de/ is great but I guess not an option for US based e-bikers.
I'm building a board track styled e-bike with some parts from them. 80mm wide 26" rim in the rear.

Thanks bjosta!

I've had Classic-Cycle in my huge list of online bike parts stores for a while. Last I checked in there all of their 80 and 100's were out of stock. Looks like they've restocked a few of them. Specifically the 24" 100's.

Price isn't too bad either... Even after converting the Euro to Canadian it's about $12 less than Choppers US.

It's the shipping that dings you. 35 Euro flat (up to 5kg). That's just shy of $50 for shipping.

If only I could get my hands on one of these for a week, so I can take some measurements, setup a temp frame jig... Or a CAD file, that would be almost as good. Hell... I'd settle for a set of actual measurements percise...

Apparently their business is seasonal so they don't order year round, IIUC:

There's an explanation in that thread by them, amongst the other stuff.

Maybe PM johnrobholmes, he builds wheels and has laced some light motorcycle rims to bicycle hubs, I can't remember which build it was but it looked real nice. I'd rather pay an experienced wheel builder than for shipping across the pond.
