I love guys like you. I feel so so grateful to be in my position as you do in yours. The thing is you don't need money you feel so good when you build something then you go ride it or drive it or test it. This has been my whole life building riding/driving or testing of some sort and then make it better or move on! But the greatest feeling in the world to to is to stand up to a challenge and fight to overcome it! I would like to see more of your projects. Just remember man you can never fail if you never give up!numberonebikeslover said:Arlo1 said:Wow I just found this thread. Very good job!

Praise for donating, not to donate. However, IIRC Naeem already acknowledged the donation and gave thanks to those that sent money. I'm sure he is very grateful
And will make the money go a long way, he's in a country with great hard ships and fighting though, so i'm sure e-bikes aren't at the top of his"too do" list right now...he will get there, he's one resourceful and determined individual, please let's not
Make him feel uncomfortable, he constantly refused offers of financial help in the past, the money wad forced upon him remember...i'm glad it was, he deserves it more than most..
Good luck with your projects Naeem you rock SIR

Unfortunately any type of battery in series will have this problem, but since no single cell of any chemistry has enough voltage for our purposes, it is necessary. (even in a single lead-acid battery, there are typically six cells in series already!)numberonebikeslover said:Let us see if the same happens while all batteries connected in series drain equally or still balancing issues remain the same. It also depends on the health of each battery. And yes one of the pack has weak health, therefore, it get down a lot quicker than all the others. Replacing this pack will resolve the problem. But! That increases the repair cost and time in an electric bike. It seems that using the battery one has to live with this fact.
Neat video of the worlds oldest running car, The car De Dion Bouton Et Trepardoux is from 1884 , and it's a steamer! Invented 2 years before Daimler/Benz's. The interesting side story is that the inventor's family tried to get an injunction against him to stop his experimenting. They said he was wasting his time on the visions of a boy wasting resources on toys... If there's a surprise, it's the functional nature of the prototype - it seats four two by two, takes more than half an hour to prepare before it can drive, and requires watering every 20 miles.
