It’s been sometime since I posted on the forum! Glad to see it’s still going strong!

My vector build has been with my dad for the last 7 years. He thinks the original Samsung 25r 72v/20ah is toast. He did flip it a few times…but I still suspect the BMS is to blame. However, it’s possible the battery died since it was built over 9 years ago.

I’ll be in the NH/MA area. I’m looking for recommendations for places to order/pick up battery replacements in the area. I figured since e-bikes are essentially the norm now, there may be some brick and mortar shops catering to us ES types.

Hmm 72v, 20Ah of 25R cells, 20S8P, that's a big pack. Not really an off the shelf kind of thing. Do you have dimensions? There are a ton of ebikes where I live, but surprisingly very, very few shops that do custom work (I know of one), so I suspect it would be similar in other areas. I noticed lately though that there are more custom ebike battery builders showing up online, but it's hard to tell which are experienced and which are just trying to get in on the ebike gravy train. Do a search on custom ebike battery packs.
