I have read that dielectric is best and the science is sound but still want to ask, is conductive grease(metal particles) any good for cells connected by pressure?, cuz 2 B honest I don't want a soldering gun if I can apply permanent pressure between connections.
Thanks a lot. Also, honestly my soldier broke. Hope to avoid getting new one.

Conductive grease is rare and I have never heard of a good application for use with electric contacts. Sometimes a contact grease is used to prevent corrosion. Their are synthetic greases made for that purpose. I think most greases or even vasoline would work if you really some protection from corrosion.

If you do not have enough mechanical pressure between the contacts moisture and oxygen can get in and cause corrosion and loss of connection. I'd try without grease first to avoid the mess.

I love silver in its colloidal form, as medical disinfectant. Truly staggered that thy make grease with it too. Yeah, I'm getting that... I used aluminum and copper anti sieze to help chinsey connections many times, but think it will melt @ 24v
ElectricFUNcycle.com happy 4th!
Dnum is right professionally, but I like to break the rules.
Pic is soon to be, much awaited mid drive!
