Hello

I have seen a YouTube video of a A123 cell battery being rebuilt using the 18650 cells

I have managed to get 72 cells for 60 quid. And now I would like to get a battery rebuilt.

The video seems to bypass the original bms that is connected to the terminals and uses a new bms.

The tools are rated to a maximum of 800watts. So I'm guessing I need to be looking at a 30A BMS. 800w divided by 36v gives 23 amps or so.

Also I'll be using 20 cells. Possibly 10 banks of 2? and will need a 10s unit?

Am I correct or have I missed somethjng?

Also a number of people here seem to swear by Bestech

Many thanks

dont use a bms for the load. just run it straight of the cells. just mount a balance board inside. getting anything beyond the original board inside the thing will be very hard,

I was thinking along these lines from e bay but you may have a better idea
