topic may be a bit weird, but not easy to describe in one sentence.

i can find a lot of push switches in this store (which i like) http://www.aliexpress.com/store/737142
most of them are momentary switches that close when pushed and open when left alone. i want to turn my controller/bms/circuit on/off with it. so pushing it to turn it on, pushing it a second time to turn it off.
using a switch that keeps it's state would be easier, but those are not so easy to be found.

so what would at circuit look like that closes with a button push and open with a second one? current flowing is minimal. maybe a few hundred mA.

Any switch not labelled as "momentary" should be a latching switch. To be certain, simply look for "toggle" or "latching" along with "pushbutton".

If you want to make a momentary switch latch, you can do it without wasting power by looking up "latching relay" circuit; it's an easy way to make a relay toggle states each time it's coil is engaged.

Or you can go solid state and use a transistor or 555 timer. Search for latching circuit.

Heaps of push-buttons on ebay. I have one like this.
