Controller with some tuning?

Hi all,

I would need your 2 cents on a good controller where I can tune some basic parameters. I have been on EB309s until now from EM3EV (with IRFB4110 FETs for those playing long at home) and absolutely love the XPD interface. As you may guess by now, I was surprised as heck that these controller, as well as XPD are discontinued - since 2017! TBH I bought one, worked, bought a few more and never needed anything else.

What am I looking for:
* sensored control, or sensorless provided it can do high current steap slope start - in my case the last EB309 can, a newer S09S sensorless trips.
* adjust AC and DC current
* limit top speed
* define DC low cutoff voltage
* have the possibility to use PAS or Hall throttle
* can use 14S 58.8V packs. Flexibility to use down to 10S is appreciated

I have looked at a few options, including the sticky ESC vs controller thread and preliminary conclusions:
* VESC: aesome but complex. Can do a ton more than what I need. Would only put time in it if there's no other (good) way LINK
* VOTOL: looks industrial, like the old Sevcon's. Is this really for ebikes? Votol Controller Ebike Controller MCU Manufacture in China
* Kuteng: can it take 14S? Seems like no, but the specs are so sparse I might want to try LINK and firmware mods here

Which one should I pick? Unless there are other ideas

Thanks

48V Kun Teng controllers can do 14S no problem (but without accurate state of charge indication). Some of the higher power ones are rated to 60V nominal IIRC. You can limit battery current but not phase current, at least not separately.
