Disassembling the Grace One engine for bearing replacement

I recently bought this bike with a non-functioning regulator and totally damaged batteries. I will retrofit it with another set of regulators. While working on it, I found that I needed to check the motor bearings.

Do you know how to replace them and how to open the motor?

Not sure what you mean by regulator. If that's an Ultra Motor, then you may need wheel building/lacing skills as well.

For the battery and regulator, some pictures of the old units, wiring connectors and any labels would be helpful. Is there something about the bike frame that made it a worthwhile buy?

That's one of the hardest to open motors out there. I broke the case trying to open one.
It's press fit together and separates at the seam down the middle, so as mentioned, needs to be fully unlaced. Getting it pressed back together straight is a challenge too...

Sorry for the typo - what I meant was that the controller and battery are damaged. There is a slight bearing noise, hence the reason I wanted to take it apart. The patent of having to remove the spokes is indeed unusual. I will have a look and try that, however a swap to some other engine would be better.
