DNM USD 8S fork supposed to be silent? OR is there supposed to be a slight "air" sound? Because when I received mine in the the mail, there was a LITTLE oil leak from the top left tube.

This is the one I have:

Normal that a fork is breathing. Some are breathing pretty hard speeding mountain trails.

Leaking is another story, I mean you should ride a few hundred miles off road before a new fork start to leak. Yet upside down forks are known to be quick to leak, which is normal since the oil is on the top of the stanchions. We used to say: if it is wet it is well lubricated. If it is dry, worry that it may be empty.
