Charge in place should be #1 if you're stuck w/ SLA....nobody wants to remove and carry 30+ lbs of lead....let it roll. :wink:

But what if some poor guy lives in an apartment and he can't bring his bike up the stairs to charge it? I'd be willing to bet he'd rather carry a 30 pound battery than a 70 pound bike.

I like all of the B designs. They remind me of classic mopeds. Look to those for some "fresh" ideas.
