But hey would look good

Hiya Bomber peeps! What's the latest thoughts/advice on tyres? I have original wheels and quite pathetically original tyres on my 2 yr old bike but I want to start ramping up the use age now I'm feeling fitter from surgery. Are the original tyres razorback duros still be a good choice? My riding style is noob/lame and I don't do wet/mud. Mostly granite/loose rock that we have a lot of here in Colorado. Thanks in advance!!ps, anyone ride in the snow and ice and have any recos for that?

Short of metal studs, I found the Razorbacks were pretty good for the snow:

They are not any good for ice though...you simply can't get away with anything but metal studs/screws for ice.

Cheers

Yah, what CD said. The Duros are one of the best, if not the best Mountain bike off road tire out there. Arrow makes a good tire called the Wide Bite. Its a very close second. There are other tires like the Halo Contra which is identical to the RazorBacks your Bomber came with. Check out Arrow Racing. http://www.arrowracing.com/home.html

Dang that is the best Stealth riding I have seen! Looks like the stock suspension too. Wow! He makes it look so easy.

Thanks Allex for the battery charging info you posted earlier too. I have always left my bike plugged in whenever I'm not on it to keep the battery full. Original battery still going good after 3.5 years, but I haven't been for a long ride for a while to check the total wh.

"Gatorbrake GA-BP014" Got it. Thanks!
Best get rid of them get some hopetech or magura as a upgrade
The pads? The breaks themselves? Why? I've been able to stop on a dime from full speed for over the past 1k miles.

My dad likes the Gators because they work well for him, and you bleed them like a motorcycle or car Hydro brakes except use mineral oil instead of Dot 3,4,5, or however many Dot fluid options are out there.

Good to see your still active here Rix. (#145) Yeah the manual says the following.
DO NOT USE D.O.T. 3 or 4 brake fluid in this system. Doing so may result in damaging the seals and cause the brakes to fail.

Some great freeriding at the back of Fed Square - hope he doesn't get our local attention up.
Gotta try those stepped seats at 2:20 next time I'm in Southbank.

Didn't you live in California before? I ask because last year I was up in Oregon, Corvallis area, could have met for a ride.

Yeah I was in the Bay Area, CA when I bought my Bomber. I just but moved back to Eugene after ~18 year hiatus. Bike is due for lots of repairs at this point and is in the shop for a tire, tube, break pad swap out. Only bad thing really so far is my frame is tearing away from itself where the upper seat frame meets the body frame. I contacted Stealth via the website a month ago or more about this, the frame is supposed to have a life time warranty. No word back yet..

Anyway soon as those basic repairs are done that it's in the shop for, I'm helping another ES member on a video project he wants to get going about e-bikes. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=73460

I was looking for a reason to buy a quadcopter forever and finally found one and put it to use last weekend. I'm in the orange SF hat, Will the producer/narrator is riding his middrive.

You guys made an awesome high quality video. That's like Moto6 quality footage there. You guys got some plans to make a little longer video?

Hey all got a question on Le bomber...
Have you all seen that after a full charge the CA battery meter does not read full and its at around 76-80 then If I plug the charger back in it runs for about 2 minutes shuts off and it shows full charge… been happening consistently for about a week now. I've never touched any setting on the CA since I've owned it. Thoughts?

Thanks fellas!

May be the phase detractors…. or the inverse reactive current….

Cant remember... Has anyone mount a PAS on a fighter? I saw it on a bomber. Any photos?

Is the problem the battery, or the CA, or can you tell?

Sounds like the battery needs balancing. That's something that's quite normal after some use.

I ran a PAS on my Fighter for ages through a CA3 interface. Worked really well but I am back to plain old throttle again now. No reason not to run it, just haven't got around to reinstating it since rebuilding the bike after tidying up the paintwork.
