Hey guys, I'm looking into converting my 2012 kx250f with a dead motor to electric. I've been looking online and I've found some kits but I'm not sure if they're worth buying. I'm hoping to get similar power to what the bike had before.

The kits I found:
http://eastgem.net/gb200-kit.html
https://www.electroandcompany.com/product-page/copy-of-qs138-90h-kit
https://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/budget-screamer-72v-brushed.html

Let me know what you guys think. Any recommendations on alternatives would be awesome too.

Similar electric power to what you had before isn't really comparable, because of the torque/speed distribution. If you use the same number of HP as the stinking gas engine, you're likely to break stuff because maximum torque will be so much greater with the electric motor. Or else you'll have to nerf your power delivery to accommodate that problem.

Is there a recommended Kw rating for a 250 frame? I just don't want to buy a motor and have it be extremely under powered.
