Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'm Italian.
I'm having a problem with my e-bike.
I own a Fantic Issimo with a Bafang M500 motor. The problem I'm having is that the battery stays on for a few seconds and then turns off, preventing me from turning on the display and using the bike.
This problem only occurs when the battery is in the housing, when the indicator outside works.
I tried another battery and nothing changed.
I checked all the cables, including the display and control buttons, and everything works; I found no short circuits or anything else.
I tested the cable connecting the battery to the motor, and that also seems to be intact.
My only concern is that this cable, being magnetic, isn't connecting properly and is interrupting the data flow through the "communication battery" connector. However, I have no way of determining if that's actually the problem.
Could someone help me?
The battery is a Trend Energy, part number: FTC-06-35S, while the cable connecting the battery to the motor is part number: B0200045005.
The cable is number 24 in the exploded view of the bicycle. Thanks
