318km in two days. 178km on a second day. Brooks is great, no issues with seating comfort. First day consumed around 20Ah, second day around 40Ah. Hilly small country roads and strong headwind.
Bike worked great except rear tire blew up five kilometres before the finish line. Total cruising weight 47kg with all camping gear and 25Ah on board.
I charged twice on a second day, after leaving the camping grounds. First on one small airport restaurant kitchen, and second time on one small town cab station resthouse.
Average speed on whole trip 23 km/h. Consumed around four litres of juice each day, it"s hot now.
I dunno why some pics say "not downloaded yet". Hope they will download.

Nice scenery. Like the Castle photo. Thanks for posting.

Wow, that’s some sweet touring my friend….

RE: Not downloaded yet - they probably never will. From my experience whenever pics are much more than 100kb we tend to see that link/message.

For example, the pic that is visible in thread is only 53kb All the rest are around 200kb thus they won't download until clicked on my system.

Whenever I see that message I usually open ‘em back up in an editor and do whatever is needed to reduce file size to around 100kb.

Ok, thanks.
Planning another trip in July, around three nights.

That is the bike alone or a typo?

Dan

Thanks. That is the bike with all touring/charging gear and full battery. With a rider (me) 146kg. Bike alone without a battery is 30,5kg.
Surprisingly well it carries 146kg. Fork, spokes, etc. That cruiser frame is extra tough, very heavy thick steel job. It"s 100% solid with 146kg.
That cheap springer is totally rebuilt by me. Brass bushings, steel tension wires, etc. It"s slightly wobbly with this weight but i love suspension and it"s mellow steel, it won"t crack, it bends if it gives up.

Sounds like a great tour, wicked pics.good news about the brooks saddle. :D
